Remember this tall, energetic performer whom we discovered and loved during the last edition of the Musicales de Flamarens in 2018? This time, he returns solo in an intimate format that fills us with joy. An atypical and charismatic artist, Jack Simard is a true master of words, combining remarkable songwriting talent with sincere and passionate interpretation. His intense and explosive universe, coupled with a wild freedom on stage and rare authenticity, makes him a precious gem of French song.

The Artist

Jack Simard has written, composed, and recorded eight albums, the latest being “Trois minutes trente avant la fin des temps,” which is already considered the most accomplished album of his young career.

Simard is especially known for his characteristic and inimitable way of living his texts on stage in a performance bursting with raw energy, both lively and deeply felt, which is universally appreciated wherever he appears.

Before choosing to surround himself with musicians, the singer performed solo at over 500 café-concerts and festivals across France and Switzerland. He has shared the stage with great names (Higelin, Arno, Les Ogres de Barback, Debout sur le Zinc, Matmatah, etc.). In his tireless quest for ultimate emotion, Jack Simard challenges preconceived notions and crafts mysterious and profound songs that captivate the ear from the very first listen.
